Sophie Skelton


Sophie SkeltonSophie is currently starring in Starz Outlander as Brianna. Her previous credits include UK TV shows Foyle’s War, Waterloo Road, Doctors, The Dumping Ground and DCI Banks. Her film career includes war drama The War I Knew and, coming out this year, Another Mother’s Son, directed by Christopher Menaul, and Ladybird, directed by Tim Fellingham and Charlotte Stente Nelson. Her combination of Northern warmth, innocence and determination make her perfect for the role of Ren.

Duran Fulton-Brown


While he studied with Anthony Hubert’s ensemble company in Florida, the British Academy of Stage & Screen Combat and National Youth Theatre, Duran remains a wisecracking, sharp-witted, street-wise Londoner – which makes him ideal for the role of our rogue, Hunter. Recent credits include Graham, a flesh-eating land pirate, in soon to be released horror thriller Tear Me Apart, and conflicted Interpol police officer Hurst, in short sci-fi Artificio Conceal.



Christopher Dane


Christopher played Arathorn in Kate’s previous feature, Born of Hope, and shares her passion for the fantasy genre. He has starred in several British independent features and shorts, and more recently played a number of guest roles in British TV series, including Call the Midwife and Dr Who. Christopher won the Best Actor Award at the London Independent Film Festival 2011 for his work in the film Being Sold. He brings a quiet steeliness to the role of Karn, the mysterious watcher in the woods.

Nick Cornwall


Nick Cornwall The role of Dagron, Ren’s troubled father, called for an actor who can do harsh things but still command sympathy and respect. We think we’ve found the right combination in Nick. Nick has worked on a number of historical films and TV shows including Da Vinci’s Demons and Outlander. In 2015 Nick starred as Sgt Skirving in the international historical film Blood and Glory (Modder en Bloed) set in a Boer prisoner of war camp in 1902, which was filmed in South Africa. He is currently filming Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur with Guy Ritchie and is looking forward to his next filming project-Anomalous: The Birth, a British Independent horror film shooting in North Wales in 2016.

James Malpas


James MalpasJames plays Ren’s mischievous little brother, Baynon. 11 years old, James loves reading, Lego and exploring. He has performed with his local dramatic society, the Girton players, as well as in school productions. This is his first film.


Richard Zeman

The Kah’Nath Commander

CAST_RICHARD2Born in Canada, Richard started acting in his teens. His impressive list of credits includes work with some Hollywood greats, including Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando in crime thriller The Score. He relishes the creativity and freedom of working on indie projects, and recently wrote, directed and acted in a short film shot in Paris.



Alan Hay


Alan performs regularly in theatres in Cambridge, London and annually at the Edinburgh Fringe, with projects including musicals, plays, short films, sketch shows and improvised comedy. He is one of the producers of the Between The Bars Theatre Company and a creative director of the Paper Planes improvised musical troupe. He will play Torberry, a local farmer who knows some village secrets.


Dita Tantang


Lyanna, a tough fighter with a daring plan, will be played by Dita, who has worked as a fight performer for stage, film and corporate projects, including demonstrations at Shakespeare’s Globe. Her fighting/special action credits include TV series 24: Live Another Day and webseries The First Musketeer. She made her acting debut in sci-fi webseries Chronicles Of Syntax. Since then, she has landed leads in short films and music videos, including Fort Hope’s latest single “Skies”.



Grace Parry


Grace has starred in several British independent features, shorts and online webseries. She is best known for her role as mean girl ‘Katy Gilmore’ in the online series Night School, based on the international bestselling books by CJ Daugherty. Since then she has filmed with James Buckley (The Inbetweeners) and Paul Kaye in new comedy movie The Comedian’s Guide To Survival and most recently won Best Actress Award in Thurrock Film Festival as Susie in comedy Run Far, Star Close. Grace plays Ren’s closest friend, Dalia.
